The objective of school is to enable and empower the hearing impaired to be productive citizens through the following means;
- To facilitate communication skills in children through Sign Language wherever found appropriate.
- To help hearing impaired children improve their speech skill. Special emphasis is put on Oralism. So that they do not face isolated in the main stream.
- To help H.I. children to make use of their residue hearing to the maximum possible extent.
- To assist the H.I. children to acquire receptive and expressive language skill.
- To involve the parents and encourage them in participative role in educational development for the hearing impaired child.
- To help the H.I. child to develop on emotionally fulfilling inter-personal relationship with others in society.
- To create awareness in society at large with a view to provide healthy environment of growth and development for children with Hearing Impairment.
The students get Academic education here upto 10th class. The student appears in “Examination of National Open School”. The result of 10th class of lat 5 batches declared is 100%. It is possible only because of the congenial academic atmosphere of the school. Changes in syllabus for better understanding are done from time to time.
